Multifunction office machines give you several capabilities in one product, usually including printing, copying, faxing, and scanning. These machines best serve a small office or a home office, where you might not have desk space available for several different products.

Multifunction office machines, also called all-in-one devices, have made great strides in recent years in becoming easier to use and more compatible with several computing systems. While the individual features found in the majority of multifunction office machines can't match those found in the best individual components, these devices are steadily improving the features they offer.

Multifunction office machines typically use one of two types of printing: inkjet or laser.  Inkjet is much more expensive than laser to operate.  The consumables (ink) is much more expensive than the toner.  We recommend laser machines over the inkjet units.

Phaser8560MFP/n/d/t/x, which prints black-and-white and color at up to 30 ppm. LAN Fax lets you send faxes directly from your PC. Put off reloading paper, or swapping one size for another, with a combined paper-tray capacity of 625 sheets - a huge stack of paper for a device that sits on a desktop. Add third and fourth trays to increase capacity to 1,675 sheets.  This unit has a fax built-in.

Also from Xerox, the WorkCentre M20i, which is a black and white digital copier, network printer, colour or black and white Fax and Scan to email, at 22 pages per minute. Check out the WorkCentre M118/M118i.  The M118i will enable you to fax, print, scan and copy, with 2-sided copy/print feature.  With powerful fax features include high-speed modem, JBIG compression, speed dials and group dials. And new, from Xerox the WorkCentre 4118p/x, the Phaser 6180MFP, and the Phaser 8860MFP/DThe really cool thing about the Phaser 8860 machine is the cost of printing in colour.  Same cost as printing in black and white!!

A note about "express exchange."  Many manufacturers offer an express exchange if your machine is faulty during the warranty period.  What they don't tell you is that in most cases the machine offered is not a new machine, but a refurbished unit.  Keep this in mind when considering if you should request your almost new machine to be serviced under the warranty agreement or simply exchange it for another one.

We do not carry nor support the Brother machines anymore.  Poor quality machines that takes up to much "down time," to our liking.  However, if a customer insists on the Brother product we will certainly get it at a best price deal.
