PC Magazine Readers Rank Oki Data Americas as #1 Color Laser Printer Manufacturer
MOUNT LAUREL, N.J., October 11, 2007
Oki Data Americas, which markets its products under the OKI® Printing Solutions brand, today announced that PC Magazine readers ranked it the #1 color laser printer manufacturer in the publication’s 2007 Reader’s Satisfaction Survey. The company also tied for the highest overall score across all printing categories.
Considered the industry benchmark on technology user satisfaction, PC Magazine’s Reader’s Satisfaction Survey provides valuable feedback from its readers on the computers and printers they use at home and at work. PC Magazine recognized Oki Data Americas’ leadership and noted that “the land of color laser printers, once reigned over by HP, has a new ruler: Oki Data.”
“These results show not only the highest levels of customer satisfaction, with our outstanding color performance and customer support, but that our brand is a consistent and credible leader in the printing industry,” said Candice Dobra, Vice President, Product Marketing at Oki Data Americas. “End users who choose products from OKI Printing Solutions are experiencing a noticeable difference from the other vendors in quality, value and reliability – the hallmark of a company that cares about its customers, understands their business challenges and develops the right products to meet their current and future needs.”
By tying for the highest overall score across all printing categories, Oki Data Americas secured its impressive second-place overall brand ranking for the second consecutive year. Its customers gave high accolades honoring Oki Data Americas as one of the top five industry brands in each contending category, including #1 in the Color Laser category, #2 in the Home category and #4 in the Business category.
OKI Printing Solutions’ most recent rating by PC Magazine readers joins a growing list of product recognitions earned from a variety of industry experts and media. In 2007, PC World included the C3400n on its 100 Top Products list. The company’s C6100 Series continued to score high marks with MacWorld being named as the best printer for April, May, June and July, while industry analyst BERTL designated it the “Best Workgroup Legal-Size Color Printer” for 2007. In addition, the C6000 Series saw an influx of expert praise including a “Very Good” rating at CNET and a “Mouse Award” from MacWorld.
